Breast Cancer 3-Day Walk

Okay, I did it. I registered for the 3-day walk in Chicago the first part of August 2010. Shannon is suppose to register and come to town and walk it with me. She did the Dallas walk in November last fall and it was awesome. I am a little apprehensive of walking 60 miles in 3 days and about raising $2,300 to even be able to walk. I will take one step and one dollar at a time. Come join the fun or make a contribution - more to come on my progress.

The weekend

The weekend is a strange thing. We can't wait for it to get here and then we don't know what to do with it and then it is over too fast and we start all over again. My favorite weekend is one with no plans, nothing, nada, and I can stay in my lounging pants from Friday at 5:05 p.m. until Monday morning when I shower to go back to work. Ah, enjoying something so simple.

Where to begin.....

This is my first attempt at setting up a blog and I am not sure what I am doing. With a little practice and a little experimenting I will get this. I like to write in a journal and this is a lot like that. I think......
